Meet the Crew
MesoMattWX isn’t just a one-man show; it’s a collective effort. Our team is comprised of dedicated volunteers who step up when the skies turn gray. from managing live chats to ensuring our community stays informed and respectful, these are the people behind the scenes making it all possible.
Fueled by the Community, Driven by the Storms
The Stream Team (Moderators)
Our moderators are the frontline of MesoMattWX. They keep the conversation flowing, answer community questions during live events, and ensure our streams remain a safe, informative space for everyone during severe weather.
Support Before, During, and After (Care Team)
Weather can be intense, and the Care Team is here to help our community navigate it. They monitor the “vibe” of our platforms, providing a calm presence for those feeling weather-related anxiety and ensuring our community remains a supportive, inclusive place for everyone.
The Guardians of the Community (Safety Team)
The Safety Team’s primary mission is the well-being of our followers. They focus on the “human” side of the storm, ensuring that official NWS warnings are highlighted and that safety protocols are clearly communicated.
The Eyes on the Sky (Radar Team)
The Radar Team assists in monitoring live feeds and tracking storm progression. While they are hobbyists and learners, they play a vital role in spotting trends, identifying interesting storm structures on velocity or reflectivity.
How We Work Together
Though we have different roles, we all share one goal: Community-First Weather Coverage.
Whether it’s the Radar Team spotting a hook echo, the Safety Team explaining where to go, or the Care Team helping someone stay calm in the chat, we operate as one unit to keep you ahead of the storm.
